Russia accuses the international community of supplying weapons to Estonia in order to have St. Petersburg "within shot"

MADRID, 24 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Russian ambassador to Estonia, Vladimir Lipaev, has accused the international community of planning to send significant arms packages to Estonia in order to have Russian cities like St. Petersburg "within shot".

Lipaev has indicated that the West plans to transfer "its most modern weapons" to exert greater pressure on Moscow in the middle of the Ukraine war, according to information collected by the TASS news agency.

In this sense, he has mainly accused the "Anglo-Saxon" countries and has indicated that "they have an interest in creating an anti-Russian position in Estonia to put pressure not only economically, politically and culturally on the country but also militarily".

"Estonia is being actively armed, although it is not very clear why. They are conventional weapons that are capable of targeting St. Petersburg and have air defense systems for medium-range missiles," he said.
