The Generalitat calls for aid worth 4 million to promote innovation projects in municipalities

VALENCIA, May 3. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) has published a resolution from the Department of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism, directed by Nuria Montes, calling for aid, worth 4 million, directed to the local administration with the objective of supporting the development of innovation projects in the municipalities of the Valencian Community.

The maximum global budget for this public call, which is part of the Territoris Innovadors program, reaches four million euros, which represents an increase of 14.28% compared to last year. The deadline for submitting applications ends on May 23, with the limitation of one request per city council, the regional administration highlights in a statement.

The lines reserved for these localities and those of medium size are those that concentrate the bulk of the budget to provide greater support for their initiatives. In fact, the intensity of aid for municipalities with less than 50,000 inhabitants ranges between 75 and 95% of eligible expenses, while the contribution to large cities may not exceed half of said costs.

By volume of aid, the program to support the execution of innovation projects with high innovative impact in municipalities accounts for around 68% of the total funds.

The 2.7 million euros with which it has been allocated will support initiatives with an innovative technological component, which generate significant and lasting benefits for all citizens and which aim to improve the quality of life of society and the environment.
