He assures that it is time to repeal the 'Gag Law': "There are no more excuses"

The second vice president, Minister of Labor and leader of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, demanded this Sunday from the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, that Spain recognize the Palestinian State on Tuesday in the next Council of Ministers.

This is what was said in an electoral act of Commons in the Palau de Congressos de Tarragona, with the candidate to preside over the Generalitat, Jéssica Albiach; the spokesperson in Congress, Aina Vidal; the head of the list for Tarragona, Yolanda López, and the member of Parliament Joan Carles Gallego.

"Let's not let another day pass. There is no reason that justifies our country not recognizing the State of Palestine," said Díaz, who recognizes Sánchez's work to advance this bilateral recognition and the involvement of other countries in it.

He has also asked that the problems of politicians not become the problems of the citizens, claiming that it generates disaffection, and has added that "it is good that the President of the Government has stopped", alluding to the five days of reflection that took place. It took him to think about his continuity in office after the complaint against his wife, Begoña Gómez.

Díaz has insisted that he must fill that pause with content: "They voted for us to govern better, not just to stop the right and for Abascal to be vice president," after which he pointed out that governing also means reducing the working day without a salary reduction.

"We are going to repeal the 'Gag Law'. It was already in the previous agreement and we were not capable of it. There are no more excuses," claimed the leader of Sumar, who has called the opposition vile and destructive and has reiterated that the time to repeal this rule.

"The soul of the Government of Spain, the imagination, almost, if you allow me, the passion, humbly, we contribute a little," according to Díaz, who has expressed surprise that the decision of the Minister of Culture, Ernest Urtasun, is questioned. to suspend the National Bullfighting Award.

He maintained that it is a decision that should have been made a long time ago: "Bullfighting, without a doubt, is a form of animal abuse," and added that Spain is a slightly more normal country after this decision.
