Downing Street urges King Charles III not to attend COP27

The Government of the United Kingdom has admitted this Friday that it has asked King Charles III, a self-confessed defender of the environment, not to attend the next Climate Summit in Egypt, alluding to the fact that this year's event does not have "the same level" as previous conferences.

However, the new Executive of Rishi Sunak has acknowledged that "it was unanimously agreed" that King Carlos III would not attend the United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which will take place in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh, nor will he the first Minister.

The decision of the British 'premier' not to attend the event has quickly sparked criticism from international organizations such as Greenpeace, which has criticized the prime minister for not taking the climate challenge "seriously enough".
