The Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar da Silva has arrived at the Barcelona Court at around 9:45 a.m., where the trial begins this Monday in which he faces a request for a sentence of five years in prison for alleged corruption and fraud in his signing for FC Barcelona from Santos FC in 2013.
The trial is expected to continue for the next two weeks and the defendants' parents and former Barça presidents Sandro Rosell -who arrived at the Palace of Justice before 9:30 a.m.- and Josep Maria will also be on the defendant's bench.
