Vox requires Bolaños in Congress to resign if someone who benefits from the "only yes is yes" reoffends

Vox wants to take advantage of the government control session next Wednesday in Congress to challenge the Minister of the Presidency, Félix Bolaños, to promise that there will be some resignation in the Executive if any of the sexual offenders benefit from the application of the Freedom Law Sexual relapse.

"Someone will resign if - hopefully it doesn't happen - one of those released by the 'yes is yes' law commits a crime against a minor or a woman again," reads the question that the Vox deputy Ignacio Gil has registered for Bolaños Lazarus.

But this will not be the only question about the controversial rule in the next Control Plenary, as two PP deputies also want to hold the Government accountable for this issue.

Specifically, Macarena Montesinos will try to get the Minister of Justice, Pilar Llop, to clarify whether she shares the views of the head of Equality, Irene Montero, that judges are "responsible for lowering the sentences" for sexual offenders.

And on her side, the spokesperson for the PP in the Equality Commission, Marga Prohens, aspires for the minister of the branch to inform the Chamber of how many drafts she has exchanged with her colleague from Justice for the reform of the aforementioned norm.
