The Government will publish on October 3 the final resolutions of the Perte of the electric vehicle

MADRID, 26 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism will predictably announce on October 3 the final resolutions in relation to the applications submitted to receive aid from the Strategic Project for the Recovery and Economic Transformation of the Electric and Connected Vehicle (VEC).

As confirmed to Europa Press by sources from the Ministry headed by Reyes Maroto, the forecast is that the final results with the allocated funds will be published next Monday and if the three projects rejected in the resolution finally obtain the definitive 'green light' from the Executive provisional --those led by Stellantis (for Madrid and Galicia), Rieju and Envision--.

Last week, Maroto, at an informative breakfast organized by Europa Press, stated that the Government would publish "at the beginning of October" the final resolutions in relation to the projects presented to the Perte VEC.

The minister affirmed that the Executive is evaluating the allegations presented by the three conglomerates of companies (of the 13 that attended the call) whose projects were left out of the provisional distribution of funds.

"Now we are evaluating the allegations, I know that all the companies have made an effort to justify some of the elements that the technicians have considered insufficient and we are in a position to increase that initial budget that we assigned, which was about 700 million," said the minister.

The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism announced in early August the provisional award of 702.7 million euros to ten of the projects submitted to the Perte VEC, 23.62% of the 2,975 million initially allocated.

According to the provisional resolution, there would still be more than 76% of the aid to be assigned, that is, more than 2,200 million euros. The provisionally approved projects have an eligible value of 1,765 million euros.

On June 3, the deadline for submitting the projects to the Perte VEC ended, after two extensions granted by the Executive, since it initially ended on May 3 and later on May 17.

After the deadline, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism received a total of 13 applications from 13 different business groups, with a value of 5,927 million euros of eligible investment.
