The Russian gas company Gazprom confirmed on Monday the stabilization of the pressure in the Nord Stream gas pipelines damaged in a series of incidents that a large part of the international community has blamed Russia in the framework of alleged sabotage operations.

"The pressure on Line A of Nord Stream 2 and the two lines of the Nord Stream 1 pipeline have stabilized following the incidents and gas leaks have ceased," the company said in a statement.

In this sense, the text indicates that Gazprom is working to "reduce the pressure in Line B of the Nord Stream 2, so it must reduce the flow of natural gas in the pipeline." "This will allow us to safely examine the integrity of the line and the possible environmental risks," he stressed.

"If the decision is made to supply through Line B after confirming the integrity of the system, operations can be resumed," said the company, which has pointed out that already last week the depressurization of two lines near the Danish island of Bornholm.
