Deustche Bank appoints María González-Adalid as director of operations for Spain

MADRID, 14 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Deutsche Bank has appointed María González-Adalid director of operations of Deutsche Bank Spain, replacing José Manuel Mora-Figueroa, who has held the position for more than 17 years, as announced by the entity in a press release.

Effective September 30, González-Adalid will be responsible for chairing the Operations Committee (OpCo) of Deutsche Bank Spain, which includes the bank's infrastructure areas such as Technology, CB Operations, Risks, Finance and Taxes, Human Resources , Communication, Legal, Anti-Financial Crime, Regulatory Compliance, Data Officer, Security, Purchases and Real Estate, bringing together nearly 470 professionals located in Madrid and Barcelona.

Until now, González-Adalid held the role of director of administration at International Private Bank in Spain. She will report to Iñigo Martos, head of Deutsche Bank Spain. The new director of operations for the country will also be a member of the executive committee and has been appointed a member of the board of directors, pending the relevant approvals.

In turn, Mora-Figueroa, who will undertake "new professional challenges", has submitted his resignation to continue being part of the council. She has also resigned as independent director Teresa Corzo Santamaría, according to the notification that the entity has sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV).
