The direction of Citizens (Cs) has appointed Carlos Pérez-Nievas as Secretary of Organization of the party, after the until now head of Organization, Borja González, has presented his resignation from his position.
Pérez-Nievas, who is in charge of the coordination of Cs in Navarra and is deputy spokesperson for Navarra Suma in the Provincial Parliament, assumes from this week the national organic position, as well as the functions of Institutional Action, and becomes part of the Standing Committee of the party, has indicated the formation in a statement.
The new Secretary of Organization of Cs has a degree in Law from the University of Zaragoza and is a Barristered Lawyer in Tudela. He was also Minister of Education of the Foral Community of Navarra between 2007 and 2009.
Affiliated with Cs since 2014, in 2019 he was elected a Cs candidate for the Parliament of Navarra in the elections of May 26, in which he participated with the Navarra Suma coalition, of which he is today the spokesperson and deputy in the regional parliament.
