Batet scolds Rufián for calling Juan Carlos I a "multi-repeat offender"

The president of Congress, the socialist Meritxell Batet, has called attention this Tuesday to the spokesman for Esquerra (ERC), Gabriel Rufián, for referring to King Juan Carlos I as a "repeat offender" from the rostrum of the hemicycle.

Batet has stopped the debate and has recriminated the ERC spokesman asking him "please" to have "respect" and not to "insult anyone, much less if he is not present". "I wish he were here, because that would mean they vote for him," Rufián replied.
