The TAD notifies the CSD that it opens a file on Rocha and validates the elections for the presidency of the RFEF

MADRID, 15 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

This Monday, the Sports Administrative Court (TAD) notified the Higher Sports Council of the opening of a file against the former president of the RFEF Managing Commission Pedro Rocha, and has validated the presidential elections in which Rocha himself is the only candidate.

According to the legal portal 'Iusport' and reported by Europa Press, the TAD has forwarded to the CSD the opening of said disciplinary file against Pedro Rocha and the rest of the members of the Management Commission for having exceeded their duties following a complaint filed by the president of Cenafe, Miguel Galán.

Galán filed this complaint with the CSD, which submitted a reasoned request to the TAD for the alleged commission of a very serious infraction by Pedro Rocha for making decisions such as the renewal of the national coach, Luis de la Fuente.

Because this is a very serious infraction, the CSD Board of Directors could agree to the provisional suspension of Rocha in the event of taking office as president of the RFEF on April 26 and dismiss him if he were sanctioned by the TAD, warned the 'Iusport' portal.

On the other hand, the TAD has rejected another appeal made by, among others, Miguel Ángel Galán against the call for elections for the presidency of the RFEF, considering that some members such as the former national selectors Luis Enrique Martínez and Jorge Vilda had not yet lost the status of assembly members and have the right to vote.
