The 'King of Cachopo' admits for the first time from prison that he killed his partner and asks for forgiveness

César Román, known as 'The King of Cachopo', has acknowledged for the first time from prison that he killed his partner Heidi Paz in August 2018, whose torso was found in one of the businessman's warehouses located in Usera, Europe has been informed. Press legal sources.

He admits this in a letter sent from the Soto del Real prison to the Provincial Court of Madrid in which he acknowledges the crime and expresses his regret. "I apologize to the victim's family," states the letter published by 'Telecinco'.

In December 2022, the Supreme Court upheld the 15-year sentence imposed for the murder of his partner by supporting the DNA report that confirmed that the torso found in one of his warehouses corresponded to that of his partner.

Justice declared it proven that César killed Heidi in the early morning of August 5, 2018 in the apartment he had rented on López Grass Street in the Vallecas district. Until now, the businessman defended that behind the murder there was a police mafia and that his ex-partner was dedicated to drug trafficking, a version that he now denies.

"I want to humbly ask for forgiveness from Heidi's family, as well as from all the others harmed by my deplorable actions. After making a deep and intimate reflection, I come to express my recognition of the crime committed and for which I was convicted, wanting to make clear my total and sincere regret of the same," he points out.

Likewise, César points out that with this recognition he considers "the process concluded" and states that he will not appeal the sentence imposed before "international judicial bodies", as he wishes to "end the suffering that my actions have caused."
