Tamames suppresses the request for early elections from his speech and criticizes Sánchez for his pacts

MADRID, 21 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The economist Ramón Tamames has avoided this Tuesday during his speech as a candidate in the motion of no confidence to request the holding of general elections on May 28, although he has questioned the pacts of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, with separatist parties and with Bildu, his "assault" on institutions or the separation of powers.

The call for early elections is the argument with which Vox registered the motion of no confidence and with which it has tried to attract the Popular Party in its favor. It was also defended by Tamames himself last week and was included in the drafts of his speech that have come to light.

However, the candidate has finally made no allusion to the date of May 28 in his speech before the Plenary Session of Congress, although he has censured many of the policies of the coalition Executive, which he has disapproved of as the "Franskestein Government".
