Sánchez denounces Feijóo's "mountain of lies" and the "stark" use of ETA during the debate

VILNIUS, 11 (from the special envoy of EUROPA PRESS, Víctor Tuda)

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has declared himself satisfied with the result of the 'face to face' that he held last night with the president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, denouncing that the 'popular' leader used a "mountain of lies" and made a "stark" use of ETA terrorism.

In statements upon arrival at the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, Sánchez stated that the debate served to clarify "many things" and it has become "clearly clear" that the PSOE has a project for the future in the face of a Feijóo who lacks of the.

Sánchez has assured that the "absolute" absence of the PP's political project led its leader to raise a debate with a "mountain of lies" and in which he used ETA. Thus, he has criticized the "blatant use" of ETA terrorism, a violence that "fortunately disappeared because Spanish democracy defeated it 11 years ago."

The leader of the Executive has indicated that during the 'face to face' he offered proposals and a balance of the last four years of the coalition government, giving as an example his interventions on pensions, the labor market or women's rights and the LGTBI collective.

Likewise, he has defended that he stood up to Feijóo's "falsehoods" and has indicated that during the debate the "disturbing tactic" of the PP of "embracing Santiago Abascal and Vox" was demonstrated.

Spain on July 23 is at stake more than an alternation in the government, the PSOE leader has assured, insisting that PP and Vox propose a "dark tunnel in time" and a "regression" with respect to the line they mark the socialists.

"I am confident in the electoral result and I think that Spanish society is going to continue betting on progress and is going to say 'no' to the setback of the PP and Vox," he argued.
