PP and PSOE clash in the Senate over Koldo's appearance after a socialist writing on a work plan

The PP and the PSOE have staged a confrontation this Friday through sources referred to the press after the 'popular' have accused the socialists of "trying to boycott" the appearance of Koldo García this Monday in the Senate investigation commission , something that the Socialist Group has denied, defending that they will be at this appearance and are not opposed to Ábalos' former advisor going to the Upper House.

Specifically, the PP in the Senate has sent some sources to the press in which they accuse the PSOE of trying to "avoid at all costs" the appearance of Koldo García "using all possible tricks." They refer to an initiative registered this Friday by the Socialist Group, which they see as a "desperate attempt to boycott the appearance."

"The PSOE in the Senate, after having accepted the PP proposal in the first meeting of the Commission, has sent a letter to the Commission's Board to request that Koldo's appearance not be held next Monday. And all of this , despite the fact that Koldo García has shown his total willingness to come next Monday, April 22, as he has expressed publicly and to the Upper House," says the PP in the Senate.

However, the PSOE admits that this document exists although it maintains that "at no time is the postponement of Koldo's appearance next Monday requested."

"The Socialist Group will be at the hearing and will ask you the necessary questions to help clarify the facts. We do not oppose your appearance," defends the PSOE in the Senate.

Of course, the socialists denounce that the ways in which the call for this appearance has been developed "do not follow what is established in the Senate Regulations."

"In Parliament, forms are essential and that is why we point out that a series of issues reflected in the Regulations have not been taken into account. Even so, we are not going to challenge that appearance or anything similar. In addition, we would like to point out that a few minutes after registering the writings, the Chamber has sent us the information required in them, such as, for example, the work plan," defended the PSOE.
