Nestlé appoints Anna Manz, responsible for London Stock Exchange accounts, as CFO

MADRID, 30 May. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Swiss food group Nestlé has reported on Tuesday that François-Xavier Roger has decided to leave the position of financial director of the company to seek new professional challenges after eight years in the multinational and has announced that Anna Manz, current financial director of London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) will join the company as its replacement "as soon as it is released from its current roles."

Thus, once Manz joins Nestlé as the new chief financial officer, which could take until May 2024, she will also become a member of the Swiss company's executive board as executive vice president. To ensure a smooth transition, François-Xavier Roger will remain in his position until his successor arrives.

"Anna has spent her career growing businesses and improving operational efficiencies. Her deep knowledge of the consumer goods industry, combined with her extensive experience in many corporate functions, place her in a unique position to help bring Nestlé to its next phase of value creation," said Mark Schneider, CEO of Nestlé.

For its part, LSEG has specified this Tuesday that Anna Manz will remain as financial director of the London Stock Exchange operator "during its 12-month notice period until May 2024", adding that it has launched the process to identify its successor.

"We will work together in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition," said David Schwimmer, CEO of LSEG.
