A doll with the Brazilian striker's shirt appears hanging next to the banner 'Madrid hates Real' in front of Valdebebas

LaLiga has "strongly" condemned the installation of a doll with the shirt of Real Madrid striker Vinicius Júnior on a bridge near the Sports City in Valdebebas in the hours before the Copa del Rey derby he faces this Thursday (9:00 p.m. ) to the white team with Atlético de Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.

In a statement, LaLiga has expressed its strong condemnation of the acts "of hate and intimidation against Vinicius Júnior". "Intolerance and violence have no place in our sport. From LaLiga, as on previous occasions, the investigation of the facts will be urged by the State Security Forces and Bodies, in search of the conviction of those responsible and requesting the sanctions more severe penalties," said the employers' association.

For its part, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) also condemned what happened. "The RFEF strongly regrets and condemns the intolerable act committed in the run-up to the Copa del Rey duel between Real Madrid CF and Club Atlético de Madrid this Thursday. In addition, it wants to send a message of support to Vinicius, directly threatened by radicals in a deplorable way", valued the federation.

"These types of demonstrations, full of hate, only encourage violence and have no place in our sport. Football must be lived with passion, but always respecting the players, the opponent and the fans. It is unacceptable for it to be carried out out this type of vandalism that does not help at all to the good development of a party as beautiful as the Madrid derby can be", condemned the RFEF.

Next to the hanging doll of Vinicius on the bridge near Real Madrid City, there was also a banner that read 'Madrid hates Real', on the day that the white and mattress clubs will seek to qualify for the semifinals of the Cup.
