The Israeli Army announces attacks against Hezbollah infrastructure and a "terrorist squad"

MADRID, 23 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

At least five people, including the son of the leader of the parliamentary group of the Lebanese Shiite party-militia Hezbollah, Abbas Muhamad Raad, were killed this Wednesday in an Israeli attack in southern Lebanon.

The group has officially announced the death of its five members, without specifying when or where the bombing occurred, although the Lebanese media assume that all of them died in the same attack.

For its part, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported tonight that they have attacked Hezbollah's "terrorist infrastructure" with fighter jets, as well as a "terrorist squad that attempted to fire rockets into Israeli territory and a squad that fired "against the military.

The Israeli Army and Hezbollah have exchanged attacks on both sides of the border in recent weeks as part of the open war between Israeli forces and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip. Israeli bombings have left a hundred dead in Lebanon, most of them Hezbollah militiamen.
