Feijóo stresses that there is not "a single comma of the agreement" PP-Vox in C. Valenciana that "questions sexist violence"

He assures that this began when the PP vetoed Carlos Flores, who "had a tough divorce" that "involved verbal abuse of his ex-wife"

The leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has assured this Monday that there is not "a single comma of the agreement" that the PP and Vox have closed in the Valencian Community that "questions sexist violence", after that pact expressly speaks of the domestic violence in which the formation of Santiago Abascal emphasizes. In addition, he has indicated that sexist violence "is obvious" and, therefore, "the obvious" should not call attention to the fact that "it is not in the texts."

In an interview on Cadena Ser, which has been collected by Europa Press, Feijóo has indicated that in the Valencian Community equality policies "correspond, where appropriate, to President Mazón, not to any council that the Vox party may hold."

"Second, there is not a single comma in the agreement that goes against or questions gender violence. And third, Mr. Mazón has said it clearly," he emphasized, after the PP candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat has confirmed who will uphold the law on this issue.

For all this, the head of the opposition has indicated that "if all the discussion is that", he is "quite calm about it". After assuring that gender violence exists, he has reiterated that "there is not a single text, not a single line in the agreements that the PP and Vox can sign that denies it."

Given the fact that this explicit statement against sexist violence is not included in this agreement between PP and Vox in the Valencian Community and if intra-family violence deserves a space, Feijóo has recalled the "traceability" of his party against gender violence. In addition, he has indicated that sexist violence "is obvious" and, therefore, "the obvious" should not "call attention to the fact that it is not in the texts", since "the judges" say it and there are sentences that so they accredit it.

When asked why in some municipalities in which an agreement has been made with Vox the equality departments are being changed to family departments, Feijóo has indicated that they will have done what they have "considered appropriate" and added that equality and the family "they are not contradictory concepts."

Feijóo has highlighted that all this started because the PP made it clear that they could not sign an agreement with the Vox candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat, Carlos Flores, "someone who has been convicted of verbal violence" for "20 years". As he has added, his party defended changing the interlocutor in these negotiations and that "it is not part of the Parliament of the Valencian Community."

"20 years ago, it's true. He's a professor of Constitutional Law, it's true. He has served the sentence, it's true. It took place 20 years ago, it's true. He had a hard divorce and involved verbal abuse towards his ex-wife" , has declared.

At this point, Feijóo has indicated that if the PP were not "protecting sexist violence" it would not have proposed the "resignation or resignation of the act" of Carlos Flores. As he has reiterated, "there is not a single line in the agreements that PP and Vox can sign that denies sexist violence."

Given the statements of the number two of Vox in the Valencian Community, José María Llanos, questioning gender violence, has indicated that in the end "he has rectified". "There Vox and its demonstrations," he added.

SAYS HE DOES NOT ACCEPT PSOE LESSONS ON AGREEMENTS

Asked if he rules out a government with Santiago Abascal as vice president of the Government after the elections, Feijóo has indicated that he wants to govern alone after the general elections on July 23. "Paraphrasing the president of the government, I can repeat it many times: I want to govern alone, this is what I can tell him," he proclaimed.

Having said this, he has stressed that he does not "accept lessons from PSOE pacts" and has stressed that his party has allowed the Socialists to govern in Barcelona and Vitoria. And he has stressed that the PSOE has been "governing with Bildu and with the independentistas." "I ask for a little fairness and a little decency", he has requested himself.

Feijóo has been convinced that Pedro Sánchez wants to "govern after losing and, furthermore, govern with the same people who have been ruling for the last five years." "He does not deny it, at least now he no longer denies that he is going to govern with them", he added.

ABSTENTION OF THE PSOE SO THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO GOVERN WITH VOX

Feijóo has indicated that if the PSOE had "some problem with Vox governing" it is "very simple" because it could abstain and allow the Popular Party to govern without depending on those of Santiago Abascal.

"Listen, you have won the elections. You have taken a difference of 20 seats from me. I am going to abstain in the investiture session so that you do not have to govern with Vox. I will do it. Me, if Mr. Sánchez wins the elections and he takes us 20 seats apart, or 15, it doesn't matter, if he wins and asks me to abstain so as not to agree with Podemos and with the independentistas, I will abstain," he asserted.

Finally, he stressed that the populism of Podemos is "absolutely clear and forceful." "We still don't know about Vox because it has not governed yet. Let's see what happens," said the president of the 'popular'.
