Before the announcement that Feijóo would call Page, the president of Castilla-La Mancha had already reminded him that neither he nor the regional Executive he represents are "interlocutors" to talk about anything that has to do with the investiture he is facing. next week for understanding that this "is the responsibility of the general secretary of the party, who is Pedro Sánchez."

"It is one thing to establish our position as a Government, which is our right and our duty, and quite another to enter into issues that are the responsibility of the nation's Parliament," García-Page had settled before that telephone conversation with the leader of the PP.

Feijóo's talk with Page is part of the round of contacts that the PP leader is making with leaders of political parties, social agents and regional presidents before the investiture debate that starts on September 26 in Congress.

Thus, the president of the PP has already held conversations with the general secretary of the PSOE, Pedro Sánchez; the president of Vox, Santiago Abascal; the president of the PNV, Andoni Ortuzar and with the leader of UPN, Javier Esparza.

In addition, he has also spoken with the regional presidents of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno; Cantabria, María José Saénz de Buruaga; Murcia, Fernando López Miras; Valencian Community, Carlos Mazón; Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, also leader of the Canarian Coalition (CC); Galicia, Alfonso Rueda, and the Basque Country, Iñigo Urkullu.

Sources from the PP have indicated to Europa Press that Feijóo is also considering speaking with the president of Navarra, María Chivite, and they are not contemplating that talk with the president of Asturias, Adrián Barbón, because he declined that contact, just like the president of the Generalitat, Pere Aragonès.
