FCC earns 256 million until June, 13% more, and increases its income by 20.5%

MADRID, 28 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

FCC obtained an attributable net profit of 256 million euros in the first half of the year, a figure 13% higher than that of the same period of 2022, as reported by the company to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) this Friday.

The gross operating result (Ebitda) grew in the first half of the year to 733.4 million euros, 21.6% above the 603.2 million euros in the same period of 2022.

The company has explained that this evolution is due to the general maintenance of margins in a large part of its areas of activity, together with a notable advance in Cement.

As a result of the increase in Ebitda, FCC's net operating result (Ebit) reached 465.2 million euros between January and June, 21.8% higher than the previous year.

For its part, the group's income grew by 20.5% in the first half, to 4,319.8 million euros, thanks to the "good behavior" of all the company's business areas, among which the activity of construction.

FCC closed the first half of the year with an income portfolio of 41,463 million euros, a figure 3% higher than at the end of 2022, with an increase in international activity in the Water area of ​​13.1%.
