This Tuesday, the Plenary Session of Congress hosts the first debate of the proposed Amnesty Law registered by the PSOE. The spokesperson for the Socialist Group in Congress, Patxi López, defended the Law this Tuesday, emphasizing that it is an "exceptional" measure that does not imply "apologizing or forgiving" and accusing the PP of "deceiving" with the argument that it attacks equality, with the sole purpose of "striking fear" into citizens.

Meanwhile, the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has assured that the law is a "national shame" and an "international embarrassment" and has compared this afternoon's plenary session with the coup d'état of 1981. That said, he has threatened with asking for a commission of investigation to "know everything" about contacts with the independentists outside Spain.
