Díaz reproaches Podemos for talking about unity but being "clean cake" depressing the electorate

He says that Sánchez's politics is "masculine" and that he has "macho" behaviors: "I feel very alien to that way of doing politics"

MADRID, 17 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, has criticized Podemos for its attitude towards the possible confluence with Sumar given that if they ask for "clean cake unity", the "electorate" ends up "depressed". "Agreements come when you want."

This is how Díaz expressed himself this Sunday in an interview in 'Lo de Évole', in the sixth, collected by Europa Press, in which he has also insisted that he cannot understand or understand how no one from Podemos attended the launch of his candidacy for the presidency of the Government on April 2.

In relation to a possible agreement between Sumar and Podemos to run in the general elections, the vice president has assured that she will do everything in her power to reach an agreement and has pointed out that the primaries open to citizens is not the problem with Podemos , being convinced that even if they had signed a commitment in this regard, they would not be within Sumar.

Do you think that if we sign a document to the general secretary of Podemos saying this, they are inside Sumar? I tell you no ", she has asserted in statements to La Sexta, collected by Europa Press, to ensure that the agreements arrive when one wants.

"I know very well what the political parties want: they talk about how much money, how many lists, and little program," he stressed.

He has also acknowledged that he did not think that former vice president Pablo Iglesias still had such a "sharpened" ancestry in the purple formation and has revealed that he felt alluded to when he wrote in a tweet that it was miserable to stand in profile when colleagues were attacked and that it came to him to say that he was "grumpy" and seemed "always angry".

Díaz, who has stated that he has no fight with Iglesias "or with anyone", has stressed that Podemos has to decide if he wants to join Sumar, but has made it clear that he sees many people from the formation who want to walk with his platform.

And in this climate of current disagreement, the vice president has launched that she has seen even supporters of the purple formation cry, because "they did not understand anything."

Especially, when the official launch of his candidacy at the Antonio Magariños sports center was far from the end of that project and there were leaders of political formations of all kinds. Therefore, he does not understand why the party leadership did not attend, although there were "many people" from the party among the public.

What's more, he has launched that there were members of Podemos who wanted to go but in the end they were not present, something that would be normal because during Sumar's previous territorial tour there were charges from the purple party in the acts, except in the case of Murcia.

At another point, when expressly asked about the macho attitudes of the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, Díaz has assured that there is "machismo everywhere" and that the way of doing politics of the head of the Executive is "masculine". "I don't like it at all. I feel very alien to that way of doing politics," she has asserted.

In this sense, he has stated emphatically that Sánchez is "macho, just like almost everyone is", although he has slipped that he is "a great politician" who has been undervalued even in his own party. "In the space I come from, Pedro Sánchez has been undervalued. His own party has undervalued him," he said.

When asked who is more "killer", if Sánchez or Pablo Iglesias, Díaz has asserted that in this sense "the two understand each other well", recalling that he has had disagreements with them in various positions.
