Correos has announced this Thursday that it will open its offices this weekend to facilitate voting by mail throughout Spain, with hours from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in Madrid, Barcelona and several tourist cities, while not ruling out extend the term for the deposit of the suffrage, set so far for Thursday, July 20.

The deputy director of operations at Correos, José Luis Alonso Nistal, has confirmed to Europa Press that this Saturday and Sunday hundreds of Post Offices will be opened throughout the country to facilitate the deposit of votes by mail and that the maximum term could also be extended to do so, set for a week from now.

In large capitals such as Madrid and Barcelona or in tourist areas of Valencia or Andalusia, Post Offices will open on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., while in the rest of the country, they will open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. On Sunday there will also be a large number of offices open from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
