About 200 dead in an Israeli bombing of a UN school in northern Gaza, according to Al Jazeera

MADRID, 18 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Some 200 people have been killed in an Israeli bombardment on the Al Fajura school, one of the facilities of the Palestinian Refugee Agency in the Near East (UNRWA), located in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the north of the Gaza Strip. .

A correspondent for the pan-Arab Al Jazeera network has reported the death toll in this Israeli attack.

UNRWA has not confirmed this specific attack, but has denounced in a statement this Saturday that "thousands of people, including our colleagues, are dying from the bombings." "There will soon be more deaths as a result of the siege imposed," the organization has warned.

"Every minute, every hour, the situation in Gaza worsens (...). A ceasefire would be critical to saving what remains of our humanity," UNRWA said in a message published on X, formerly Twitter.

Many displaced Palestinians have taken refuge in UNRWA hospitals and schools located in the vicinity of the Indonesian Hospital, in the north of Gaza City, to avoid Israeli attacks.
