Abascal warns that the change in the CCAA "is insufficient" if the Government of Sánchez is not "finished" on 23J

MERIDA, July 9 (EUROPA PRESS) -

The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has warned this Sunday that the electoral turnaround of the regional elections on May 28 is "insufficient" if now they do not all assume "the responsibility" of "finishing" the legislature of Pedro Sánchez. And he has criticized the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, whom he sees as more concerned with confronting Vox than with evicting Sánchez from the Moncloa Palace.

"Although we let ourselves be carried away by enthusiasm and joy, and although it is important, it is insufficient," he warned before a thousand supporters gathered in Mérida, with whom he euphorically celebrated the coalition agreement reached with the PP in the community.

"What good will change be in so many places if on the 23rd we do not all assume the responsibility of putting an end to this terrible legislature in which it has been governed against the interests of the Spanish people, against unity, freedoms, the independence of the powers and against democracy itself," he asked.

The Vox leader thus wanted July 23 to be a "national holiday" because "the legislature of lies" ended, presided over by "an unscrupulous guy." And he has censured that Sánchez has said that "you have to vote for him to protect democracy." "He does not realize to what extent it is a bad joke to say that he defends democracy who lies to the people in the elections," he denounced.

But he has also criticized Feijóo, whom he sees as "clueless" and "more concerned at the moment with winning over Vox than with winning over Sánchez". "The oversight is so colossal that Feijóo has said that he wants to repeal Sanchismo by agreeing with Sánchez", he has censured, warning that "the battle has not been won" and that "socialism and Pedro Sánchez have not yet been thrown out".

"You have to support Vox, the political force that is clear about the alternative, that wants to throw out Sánchez to throw out socialism. Not to occupy his chair, that is worthless," he claimed to applause and shouts from his followers.

Abascal has also criticized some words of the 'popular' Esteban González Pons in an article in the 'New York Times' (which he has renamed "New York Timos") on the rise of the extreme right in Europe.

In this context, he has branded the PP as a "kinder surprise" because "you don't know what you're going to get", recalling his pacts with the PRC in Cantabria or conversations with Teruel Existe in Aragon. "Whoever votes for Vox knows what they vote for, whoever votes for the PP plays the lottery," he insisted.
