According to the current Bitcoin Optech Newsletter, the number of transactions in the Mempool of Bitcoin has shrunk within the last week a hundred times. In other words: the size of The Mempools is between the 26. June and 3. July from 100,000 to 1,000 transactions declined.The Lightning Network Daemons
There are, according to the Newsletter, in addition, a new Version of the Lightning Network Daemons, including LND 0.7.0 beta. This is the first Version that uses a Watchtower-implementation. This in turn allows third parties, to protect In-Channel Funds from Offline users. In addition, the new Version promises some Bug Fixes, as well as an improvement in the API links for the tracking of payments.
