Zelensky Says 30 Percent Of Power Plants Destroyed After Russian Attacks

MADRID, 18 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelensky, has said that 30 percent of the country's power plants have been destroyed as a result of Russian bombing, which in recent days has intensified its attacks on these facilities.

"Another type of Russian terrorist attacks: aimed at Ukraine's critical and energy infrastructures," Zelensky wrote on his Twitter profile along with the publication of a video showing the bombing of civilian facilities.

"Since October 10, 30 percent of Ukraine's power plants have been destroyed, which has caused massive blackouts throughout the country," Zelensky denounced for whom after these events "there is no room left" to negotiate "with the regime" of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This Tuesday several Ukrainian regions have woken up with several attacks on their civil infrastructures that have caused partial cuts in their water and electricity supplies, a day after kyiv reported at least a dozen deaths as a result of a series of bombings in kyiv and Sumy.
