Zelensky calls for serenity and recalls that with each Russian step back, Ukrainian soldiers die

The President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, has appealed to the population to be calm and to lower their spirits due to the latest achievements of the country's Army on the front, assuring that with each step back that Russia takes, Ukrainian soldiers lose their lives. .

"Today there is a lot of joy in the information space, and it is clear why. But our emotions must be restrained, always during war," the Ukrainian president urged in his daily message to the Ukrainian population.

Zelensky has stated that he does not want to "feed the enemy" by giving details about the Ukrainian operations on the open fronts in the south and east of the country, because when the result is known, "everyone will see it".

For this reason, and although it does not sound like "what people expect now", the Ukrainian president has recalled that the Russian Army "does not give gifts" and that each "liberated" piece of land costs people their lives.

"The enemy does not give us gifts, does not make 'goodwill gestures'. We chose all this. And when you are fighting, you must understand that at every step there is always resistance from the enemy, it is always the loss of life of our heroes", Zelensky has asserted.

For this reason, the Ukrainian head of state has defended continuing to liberate "all of our land" with "great care, without emotion."

"This will be the result of our efforts, our defense operations. The ones that are currently underway, the ones that we are still planning," he added.
