Zelenski sentences that Russia "never again" will be a country with influence in the world

MADRID, 25 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The president of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelenski, has ruled this Monday that Russia "never again" will be a subject capable of dictating "nothing to anyone", and has argued that the country led by President Vladimir Putin has lost influence in the international context.

"Never again will Russia be a subject that can dictate something to someone. It no longer has the potential to dictate anything to anyone. The world sees it. The Russian potential is now being wasted on this madness: on a war against our state and the whole world." free world", the Ukrainian president assured in his daily message to the nation.

Zelenski has underlined the role of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, emphasizing that on the day that marks eight months since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukrainian territory, "Ukraine is breaking up the so-called second Army in the world."

For this reason, he has ruled that Moscow "will only be a pawn" from now on, which is why, according to the Ukrainian leader, Russia is "begging Iran" and "trying to squeeze something out of Western countries, inventing various nonsense about Ukraine, intimidating and deceiving."

"Russia had exposure to gas, not now. It had military influence, not now. It had political weight, now isolation is increasing. Before there were ideological ambitions, now only disgust," Zelensky said, opining that this "is a change very important in shaping our part of Eurasia.

"The more potential Russia loses now, the more real freedom all peoples will gain, both close to Russia and within its borders. Ukraine in the first place," he added.

However, Zelensky has warned Ukrainian citizens that these reasons do not give them the right to relax, maintaining that "the road to Ukraine's victory still has to be traveled."

He has also emphasized that the winter to come will be "the most difficult" in the history of Ukraine, which is why he has called on the population to do "the necessary work" in the fall, alluding to energy saving.

He has also urged his partners in the West to "maintain maximum mobilization" in order to "fight for freedom" and not allow Russia to "split the global pro-democracy coalition."

"This is what we do, we are all Ukrainians, Europeans, all people in the world who value freedom," he added.
