The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced this Tuesday that it has shot down an Iranian-made drone that was flying over Syria.
CENTCOM has detailed that this Tuesday "US forces in Syria attacked and shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) made in Iran" around 2:30 p.m. local time, according to a statement.
It has also indicated that the drone "was trying to reconnoiter the support site of the Conoco mission, a patrol base in northeastern Syria."
