Ukraine estimates the number of Russian soldiers killed in combat at around 95,000

MADRID, 12 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have estimated this Monday at about 95,000 Russian soldiers killed in combat since the outbreak of the conflict, triggered on February 24 by the invasion order given by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army has indicated in a message published on its official account on the Facebook social network that to date about 94,760 Russian soldiers have been "liquidated", including 620 during the last day of fighting.

Likewise, it has indicated that so far 2,966 battle tanks, 1,929 artillery systems, 211 anti-aircraft defense systems, 281 planes, 264 helicopters, 1,617 drones and 582 cruise missiles have been destroyed.

On the other hand, it has stressed that 4,544 vehicles and fuel tanks have been destroyed, 169 pieces of "special equipment" and 397 self-propelled and armored multiple rocket launchers. "The data is being updated. Hit the occupant. Let's win together. Our strength is in the truth", he has settled.

The head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, stated on November 10 that Russia has suffered "more than 100,000" casualties, including military deaths and injuries, in the framework of the invasion of Ukraine, before adding that the figures among the Ukrainian ranks "are probably similar."
