Ukraine claims to have attacked a headquarters of the Wagner Group in the Lugansk region

MADRID, 12 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Ukrainian authorities have claimed to have attacked a headquarters of the Wagner Group, owned by an oligarch close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, located in the town of Kadiivka, in the Lugansk region (east), without for the moment there being a balance of victims.

"The whole world is being mobilized. The racists have started again to recover bodies in the occupied territories," said the governor of the Ukrainian region of Lugansk, Serhi Haidai, through a message on his Telegram account. "Something clicked on the Wagnerians' headquarters. The earth is like glass to them," he added.

The Wagner Group has deployed mercenaries in eastern Ukraine in the context of the conflict that broke out in 2014 in the Donbas region, where Lugansk is located. Moscow announced in September the annexation of this region along with those of Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhia, all partially occupied after the invasion unleashed on February 24.
