Putin orders to raise security standards in the Armed Forces to equate them to "real needs"

Requires a special mechanism for the "efficient" exchange of information between units and manufacturers

MADRID, 10 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has called on the authorities to respond to the needs of the Armed Forces and to raise security standards in the Army to match the "real needs" arising from the invasion of Ukraine, unleashed on 24 February.

Thus, he stressed that the objective is "to raise the standards of material supply to the Russian Armed Forces, other troops, military formations and organizations with the real needs that arise during the special military operation, taking into account the intensity of use of the material goods".

The order is included in a document published by the Kremlin on its website after a meeting held last week with the Government Coordinating Council and states that the authorities must present the definition of "objective" on November 14 to respond to these needs. .

Likewise, it points out that, in order to improve the quality of the products sent to the troops deployed in Ukraine, a special mechanism must be formed that "guarantees an effective and efficient exchange of information between the units directly involved in the special military operation and the manufacturers of weapons and military equipment and material".

Putin has also ordered the Government to present before this Friday proposals to control the costs of the invasion with the aim of "guaranteeing control over the spending of budgets on activities that guarantee that the special military operation is carried out," according to picked up the Russian news agency TASS.

Finally, he has called on the Ministry of Finance to determine the amount of additional financial support needed by the country's regions, including those located on the border with Ukraine and where a "terrorist alert" is in force, "at the expense of the funds from the General Budgets".
