The TSJC ratifies the 14 and 11 years of disqualification for the two exalted health officials of Cantabria

SANTANDER, 26 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Superior Court of Justice of Cantabria (TSJC) has confirmed the sentence of 14 and 11 years of disqualification for employment or public office that the Provincial Court imposed on the former deputy director of Economic Management and Infrastructures of the Cantabrian Health Service (SCS) Francisco Javier González and to the former director of the Primary Care Management Alejandro Rojo, respectively, for prevarication in minor contracts during his time in office during the last legislature.

This has been ratified by the TSJC in a sentence, handed down this Thursday and of which Europa Press has learned from personal sources, which completely dismisses the appeals filed by both defendants, to whom the Cantabrian High Court also imposes the payment of the procedural costs.

The two exalted charges were sentenced by the Provincial Court in March 2021 -after the trial held in February- for prevarication in minor contracts, a figure to which they resorted "deliberately" and even "repeatedly", according to the Court.
