The judge investigating Oltra once again extends the secrecy of the separate piece for another month

VALENCIA, 28 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The head of the Investigating Court number 15 of Valencia, which is investigating the alleged cover-up of the sexual abuse committed by Mónica Oltra's ex-husband against a minor under guardianship, has decided to extend for another month the secrecy of the proceedings on a separate piece opened after the petition of the popular accusation exercised by Gobierna-TE, which had requested the contribution to the cause of the emails of the server of the Generalitat of two high officials in Equality at the time of the events.

This is stated in an order, to which Europa Press has had access, in which the judge considers that since the reasons for which these proceedings were declared secret have not changed and because it is necessary for the success of the investigation, it is appropriate to extend that measure for another month. This order, which extends a decision adopted on January 25, is not final and can be appealed.

In this piece, the popular accusation requested the practice of proceedings to identify the members of the Vice-Presidency Cabinet at the time of the investigation -which affects Oltra and 14 other senior officials and technicians from the department he directed-, as well as in regarding the participation of its members in the events, through the contribution to the cause of the emails of the public servant of the Generalitat in relation to the general director of Infrastructures and Social Services, Enrique Alcocer, and the then regional secretary of Equality, Alberto Ibáñez.

The petition was formulated as a result of Oltra's statement as investigated in the main piece, considering that this appearance had opened the need "for factual clarification in the face of the evident argumentative contradiction that has been revealed" with his statements as a public authority made in the Valencian Courts. The prosecution wants to know the participation in this case of the people mentioned by Oltra and of those who shared knowledge of the situation with her because they were in her cabinet.

Specifically, the prosecution's request covers three periods: January to December 2017 --the year in which the abuses occurred--; from October to December 2019 --months in which the ex-husband was sentenced-- and from the beginning of the preliminary proceedings to the present.

The accusation urged the practice of these proceedings since it ensures that it is aware that the General Directorate of Information Technologies and Communications of the Generalitat Valenciana has agreed, on October 30, 2022, the deletion of all the email accounts and their contents belonging to the 'cv.gva.es' domains, which could affect the research information.

In his day, the instructor already ordered the incorporation of the emails of the former Minister of Equality and the rest of those investigated into the case, with a time frame that coincides with the actions subject to the procedure: from February 20, 2017 to March 23 of that year and from the end of July 5, 2017 to December 1, 2017, and material: the emails to eventually join would be "only and exclusively those that make explicit reference to the facts denounced" by the victim of the abuses and reported in the Gobierna-te complaint or the actions derived from said complaint.
