MADRID, 22 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Lawyers of the Administration of Justice (LAJ) fear that the meeting scheduled for this Friday at the Ministry of Justice will be "merely dilatory" while they have asked the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, to "order what is appropriate" to resolve the "most serious problem suffered by the Administration of Justice in Spain".

In a statement, the LAJs have shown their willingness for the meeting to take place "this very afternoon" or "at the time of day or night that the Ministry wants" so as not to wait more days or give rise to suspensions or traffic jams. the country's courts. "Every day that passes without resolving the conflict, there are 10,000 more trials that are suspended," they have denounced.

In this sense, they have also made it ugly that the meeting has an hour to end and that it lasts only an hour and a half, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., something that "seems insufficient to resolve such a stranded conflict", so they fear that the meeting is "merely dilatory" and that they are trying to justify "something that is absolutely unjustifiable." "That since the conflict began, a month ago, there has only been one meeting between the Ministry of Justice and the Strike Committee," they have censured.

In any case, the LAJs have clarified that they will appear on Friday with the express and sincere desire to reach an agreement and to bring positions closer to recovering normality in the courts and tribunals, while they have asked Minister Pilar Llop to get involved again. direct and personal way to ensure the "honest dialogue he promised" in Congress.

Similarly, they have asked the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, to "order what is appropriate" so that the most "serious problem suffered by the Administration of Justice in Spain" is resolved.

Last Thursday, the meeting between the Ministry of Justice and the Associations of Lawyers of the Administration of Justice, conveners of the indefinite strike ended, after more than 15 hours, without an agreement and with mutual reproaches between the parties for maintaining immovable positions. Both agreed to accuse the other of turning citizens into hostages.
