Zelensky refuses to negotiate: "terrorists are neutralized"

MADRID, 9 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelensky, defended this Sunday his rejection of any negotiations with Russia because the latter is demonstrating with its "terrorist" attacks that it has no desire for dialogue and has given as an example the recent attack on a residential building in Zaporizhia in which 14 people have died.

"Today I want to address those who believe that only negotiations can put an end to this brutal Russian terrorist war (...). Do negotiations serve to defeat terrorism? Everyone must answer this question honestly. Terrorists are it neutralizes them," Zelensky said in a new speech posted on social media.

For Zelenski "the constant terrorism against the civil population supposes an evident rejection on the part of Russia to some authentic negotiations". "They show it every day, every night", he assured before recalling the Zaporizhia attack.

"At least 14 people died last night (...). More than 70 people were injured, including eleven children (...). A Kh-22 heavy anti-ship missile hit a normal residential building," he reproached. For Zelenski "it has been deliberate". "Whoever gave the order and those who carried it out knew what the objective was," she said.

"When someone wants to negotiate, they don't do that. And when someone is a terrorist, they do exactly that," he argued. "The last time a terrorist state was allowed to do what it wanted because the world powers were afraid, World War II started," she stressed.

Now, instead, "the world is united." "Ukraine is going to win this war. We can liberate our entire homeland and we can put a terrorist state in its place. Russia has to be punished for terrorism," he stressed. That is why he has called for the inclusion of Russia in the list of terrorist states and "limit any economic contact" because "you cannot be sponsors of terrorism", as well as the supply of more anti-aircraft systems.
