Vox asks that Congress retry Isabel Rodriguez for attacking CyL and be permissive with Catalonia or Balearic Islands

MADRID, 19 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Vox has registered an initiative for Congress to disapprove the Minister of Territorial Policy, Isabel Rodríguez, for the "disproportionate and overreacted" reaction that she blames on the Government after the announcement of the new protocol for pregnant women in Castilla y León, an attitude that contrasts with the "warmth" with which, according to the complaint, the Executive demonstrates before the "disloyalties" or even "crimes" that, they say, are committed from the institutions of other autonomous communities.

In the statement of reasons for its initiative, to which Europa Press has had access, Vox accuses the Government of "sulliing" the principle of "institutional loyalty" "too often" by using the institutions for its own partisan benefit and acting with an "unparalleled hypocrisy" and with "manifest arbitrariness".

In his opinion, proof of this is Moncloa's "disproportionate and overreacted" reaction to the aforementioned protocol announced by Vox in Castilla y León and the "indifference" or "lukewarmness" shown by the Executive before decisions of other regional governments such as the Catalan or the Balearic Islands, whom he accuses, among other things, of promoting an "unpunished persecution of Spaniards", of failing to comply with sentences or even committing "very serious crimes".

Thus, the text that those of Santiago Abascal will submit to a vote in the Territorial Policy Commission urges the Government to "stop" the "ideological assault on all the institutions of the Nation" that, in their opinion, the Executive has been practicing since the arrival of Pedro Sánchez to Moncloa through "the instrumentalization of the institutions at the service of their interests".

In this context, he proposes that the Chamber condemn Rodríguez for his statements against Vox, for "justifying" the "manipulation of the institutions" and for his "indifference" to the "constant displays of disloyalty to the Nation" that, in the opinion of party, carried out by the "leaders of various regions of Spain".

They also demand that the Minister Spokesperson be censored for "helping in the unfair and perverse treatment" that, they maintain, "has been procured in the region of Castilla y León" and, for all this, they request that Congress urge Sánchez to dismiss her " Immediately".
