The PP demands from the Government the technical and legal reports that guarantee the energy measures

MADRID, 9 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The coordinator of Economy of the PP in the Congress, Jaime de Olano, has transferred this Tuesday that they have asked the Government to send the technical and legal reports that endorse the measures of the royal decree of the energy saving plan and has assured that they will comply with it in the governing administrations.

In statements from Genoa, the 'popular' leader has indicated that they also want to know what are the economic impact studies that these measures may have on the productive fabric and they hope that the Government will send them all the reports because "until now they have not given explanations of these issues."

"This is something that the affected sectors also say, both the industry and the merchants, the municipalities, the autonomous communities governed by the PP and even some PSOE advisers have highlighted the legal insecurity generated by (the decree)," he pointed out. .

Asked about the position of the PP while waiting for the reports that they are now requesting, Olano has asserted that the "PP always complies with the law", but that this does not "prevent" an autonomous community in the exercise of its powers from deciding to present a appeal of unconstitutionality as announced by the Community of Madrid. "What has to do with trade is the exclusive competence of the communities and it is more than likely that it affects the competitions," he added.

However, he has not clarified what the PP will do when the decree is validated, but he has indicated that they expect the Government to "rectify once again". "It is only correct when they rectify it and it is a clamor from all sectors and public administrations affected. The best thing they can do is withdraw it and negotiate it," he settled.
