The LPFF opens the process for the commercialization of audiovisual rights

The Professional Women's Soccer League (LPFF) has opened this Tuesday the process for the commercialization of the audiovisual rights of the First Division of Women's Soccer from the 2022/2023 season; The LPFF has reported in a statement.

For the Professional League it is "a historic milestone" that seeks to ensure one of the "great objectives of the LPFF, to give maximum visibility to the first women's professional competition in the history of Spanish sport from its first day, which will start on the 10 -11 of September".

The control body for the management of audiovisual rights of the LPFF met this Tuesday to approve the bases for said sale in Spain, including Andorra in a non-exclusive regime; the European Union; and the rest of the countries outside the EU, for a period of three, four or five seasons from 2022/2023, thus beginning the process of receiving offers.

Members of the Higher Sports Council (CSD) and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) also attended the meeting as guests. The LPFF has indicated that the bases and documents will be available to all operators and agents on the agency's website, as well as via email: consultaTV@lpff.es. The LPFF has reported that the deadline for submitting offers will be until 12:00 noon on September 1.

"The LPFF continues to take firm steps to ensure that the highest professional competition for women's football in our country is among the best leagues in the world, and after signing the historic agreement for the marketing of sponsorships and commercial agreements, it faces a new key step in its growth strategy", explains the Women's Professional Football League.
