The Ibex 35 rose 1.28% and defended 8,100 points in the mid-session on Monday, in which no major macroeconomic references are expected.
This morning it was published that the gross domestic product (GDP) of the United Kingdom experienced an expansion of 0.2% in July compared to the previous month, when it had observed a contraction of 0.6%.
In Spain, the number of new commercial companies fell by 14.4% in July compared to the same month of 2021, to a total of 7,180 companies, its lowest figure since September last year, while the dissolution of companies increased by 8% compared to the same month last year, up to a total of 1,624.
The week will continue to be marked by the evolution of the energy crisis and economic data, including the CPI for the month of August in the US and the ZEW for investor confidence in Germany.
The Spanish selective stood at 8,135.9 points at twelve noon, with Arcelormittal (4.01%), Inditex (3.63%), Acerinox (3.11%), Fluidra (2.86%), CaixaBank (2.79%), Indra (2.68%), Baninter (2.4%) and Santander (2.25%) at the head of the promotions.
On the contrary, only Acciona Energy (-1.9%), Naturgy (-1.2%), Grifols (-0.96%), Enagás (-0.84%), Acciona (-0, 25%) and Cellnex (-0.16%).
The rest of the European stock markets maintained gains of 1.25% in London, 1.24% in Paris, 1.6% in Frankfurt and 1.71% in Milan.
The price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 93.93 dollars, with an increase of 1.17%, while the Texas stood at 87.67 dollars, after up 1.01%.
Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0131 'greenbacks', while the risk premium stood at 117 basis points and the return on the 10-year Spanish bond stood at 2.821%.
