The General Council of Economists and Red.es sign a protocol to disseminate the Digital Kit

MADRID, 7 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The General Council of Economists of Spain (CGE) and Red.es have signed a protocol this Tuesday to disseminate the aid of the Digital Kit program to SMEs and the self-employed.

Through this protocol, this group will be able to find out about sales and how to apply for this aid of 3,067 million euros for the purchase of existing digital technology and services, according to a statement.

To date, Red.es has distributed 120 million euros in 10,000 grants through this programme, the first phase of which is aimed at companies with between 10 and 49 employees and which has received more than 50,000 requests for this phase.

The CGE will use its network of professional associations and its digital channels to promote the program and reach the 55,000 economists they represent.

These economists may also act as voluntary representatives when managing the request of a self-employed person or an SME.

The president of the CGE, Valentín Pich, has highlighted that digitization represents a "fundamental change" in the way companies relate to each other and has underlined that the program represents a "historic opportunity".

The general director of Red.es, Alberto Martínez, has highlighted the importance of disseminating the benefits of the program and the challenge of reaching smaller companies.
