MADRID, 12 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Amancio Ortega Foundation has announced 400 scholarships aimed at students in the fourth year of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) from Spanish educational centers to study the first year of Baccalaureate in Canada and the United States during the 2023-2024 academic year.

The registration period will be from this Monday, September 12 to October 11 of this year, as published this Monday by the Official State Gazette (BOE).

Specifically, 70 scholarships will be assigned to students from educational centers in the autonomous community of Galicia and 330 scholarships to students from educational centers in other autonomous communities and cities in Spain.

The scholarship covers all the necessary services to carry out a school year abroad and live a unique experience: travel, school fees and enrollment in a public institute, accommodation and meals in a host family, medical and accident insurance, validation of the year academic and continued support during the stay.

Since the birth of the Amancio Ortegaen Foundation scholarship program in 2010, more than 3,500 students have participated, integrating themselves into the culture of the destination country and perfecting their command of English.
