Sánchez will participate in the Davos Forum in the third week of January

MADRID, 4 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will participate in the next edition of the Davos Forum to be held in the third week of January, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

As indicated by the World Economic Forum on its Twitter, Sánchez will attend the Annual Meeting to be held from January 16 to 20 "to address the way in which Europe can work together to face regional challenges in 2023". The motto of this year's event is "Cooperation in a fragmented world".

This will be the fifth time that the President of the Government has intervened in this important forum that is being held in the Swiss city of Davos since he arrived at Moncloa.

In 2019 and 2020 he gave a speech to the attendees while in 2021 the World Economic Forum organized a meeting for Sánchez with businessmen from all over the world to whom he explained the economic recovery and growth that Spain was experiencing after the pandemic.

The president spoke for the last time at the Davos Forum last May. So, he once again defended the economic situation in Spain and took the opportunity to claim the need to reform the electricity market so as not to jeopardize the green transition.
