Robles assures that they are following the procedures to expel the military who raffled off a prostitute in a private chat

MADRID, 12 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Defense Minister, Margarita Robles, has assured this Monday that the procedures continue to expel the military from the Bruc barracks in Barcelona who, in a private chat, carried out the raffle for a prostitute, stressing that "the Army itself rejects them".

In an interview in La Sexta, collected by Europa Press, the minister pointed out that "without any doubt" the soldiers involved should be expelled because the Army "has zero tolerance for these issues."

"They are people who discredit and dishonor what our Armed Forces are, which are the most prepared, respectful of everyone, and there is a policy of zero tolerance", emphasized the Minister of Defense, who considers that " not even joking" these behaviors are acceptable.

Thus, he has stressed that the resolution that must be taken is one that leaves the Army "in its place." "And the Army is an example in Europe, among other things, because of the role that women play and that makes Spain one of the countries with the leadership in the implementation of United Nations resolution 1325 of 'Women, peace and safety,'" he added.

However, he has stressed that anyone who is allowed "to make the slightest joke with something that goes against the principles of the Army or against the dignity of any woman or person, are people who do not deserve to be in the Army," he has settled.
