Rayo and Elche face their needs in Vallecas

Rayo Vallecano will try to interrupt this Monday, in the last game of the seventh day of LaLiga Santander (9:00 p.m.), their poor run of results against a bottom team Elche who visits Vallecas in search of their first victory of the course.

The Madrid team, twelfth with seven points, three more than the relegation zone, lost ground with the European zone -now five units- after losing in three of their last four games, the last one before the break against Athletic Club (3-2).

Andoni Iraola's men have wasted two opportunities to string together victories this season and now try to break a series of four days without keeping a clean sheet.

Against them, the team from Elche, which closes the table with only one point after a draw and five losses, is in serious trouble after losing its last four matches, in which it only managed to score one goal and conceded 12.

The numbers, which place the franjiverdes as the team with the most goals (16) and the second least scorer (2), endanger the continuity of Francisco from Almería on the bench, all in a month in which they still have to face Valencia and Real Madrid.

With the only loss of Andrés Martín, Salvi Sánchez and Pep Chavarría will once again be available in the Rayista team, while Gonzalo Verdú will miss the match for the Elche players, who will also be unable to count on Jony Álamo, Javier Pastore or Fidel Chaves and that they have doubts about Omar Mascarell.
