Levante, Alavés and Cartagena return to winning ways and Burgos and Oviedo draw goalless

MADRID, 10 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Saturday's day in LaLiga Smartbank served for three teams to change their negative dynamics and win their matches again, as Levante, Deportivo Alavés and Cartagena were able to win again after their poor results last weekend, while in El Plantío el Burgos and Real Oviedo drew goalless.

Levante won the Valencian Community derby against Villarreal's subsidiary, which they beat 4-1 thanks to a great run in the second half. Roberto Soldier scored in the first minute and brought joy to the stands of Ciudad de Valencia. Nafti's men, sent off in the first half, came into the break with the advantage, but Sergio Lozano equalized before ten in the second half.

However, the changes revived the Granotas, who saw how two of the players who came on from the bench returned the advantage to Levante. Roger Brugué scored the second and already in the last minutes Joni Montiel and Alejandro Cantero closed the result for Levante's second victory this season.

For its part, Deportivo Alavés started the day with a difficult victory in the always uncomfortable Anxo Carro, where Lugo went ahead very quickly, with a goal from Chris Ramos in the initial section. From there, the Babazorros had to row a lot to turn the match around.

The Japanese Taichi Hara equalized in the second half, and three minutes later it was the Argentine side Nahuel Tenaglia who definitively came back from the match and placed the final 1-2 in the electronic scoreboard. In stoppage time, both teams saw how they were left with one less player, as Moctar El Hacen, from Lugo, and Luis Rioja, from Deportivo Alavés, were expelled.

Who recovered the good feelings was Luis Carrión's Cartagena, who after losing the last match managed to beat the leader, Albacete Balompié, at home in a match that was decided in the second half. Mikel Rico opened the can and Óscar Arribas widened the gap, while the Belgian Jonathan Dubasin cut back to place the final 2-1.

Thus Albacete loses the leadership, which also falls for the first time so far this season. Those of Rubén Albés descend to third position, leaving the places of direct promotion for Deportivo Alavés and Las Palmas, in the absence of what Granada does in its visit to Eibar.

The only match that did not have goals was the one that ended in a tie, the 0-0 between Burgos and Oviedo. The people of Burgos already have three draws in five games, while for the Asturians it is their second tie in two weeks. In the match, the locals were closer to victory, but the defensive line of an Oviedo that has only conceded two goals all season choked.
