Inversis acquires 40% of Luxembourgish group Adepa

MADRID, 5 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) -

Inversis, a 100% subsidiary of Banca March, has acquired 40% of the Luxembourg group Adepa, an operation that will be carried out through the purchase of shares in the group from its current controlling shareholder and the subscription of new shares in a capital increase .

The agreement also includes the option that Inversis can gain control of 100% of Adepa's shareholders within seven years, as reported in a statement.

The funds from this acquisition, conditional on receiving the approval of the Luxembourg supervisor (CSSF), will allow the entities to "accelerate their international growth plans in the markets where Adepa is present, including organic growth and selected strategic acquisitions."

In addition, they will benefit from the synergies of the business models of both, from the growth opportunities that their current customer bases represent, as well as from the location of their operations centers in Spain, Luxembourg, Italy and Chile.

For the Spanish market, Inversis and Adepa have agreed to concentrate all the administration services provided to investment and pension fund management companies in the Spanish subsidiary of Adepa, while Inversis Management will be the only entity of the group that will develop the business in Spain asset management.

"The signing of this alliance and the consequent acquisition of 40% of Adepa allows us to expand the catalog of solutions and services that we provide to a key segment of our clients such as the management companies of collective investment institutions and, particularly, to the managers of venture capital", highlighted the CEO of Inversis, Alberto del Cid.

For his part, the founder and CEO of Adepa, Carlos Alberto Morales, is convinced that the synergies between both business models, the breadth and depth of the solutions that can be made available to customers will allow them to develop a service model and "truly unique" business.
